Micaela Swentik – Oh yes, Berry! Well, I would have to Halle Berry is probably my favorite. She just doesn’t get enough credit for her work. Have you seen that movie Kidnap, edge of your sit holy moly! Barry Manilow (although he comes with a A and not an E) is also a good berry. He has some pretty iconic songs, go listen to “I Can’t Smile with Out you”, it will be stuck in your head for days!
Carol Miller – My favorite berry is definitely raspberries. As children we would pick raspberries that my mother grew to make raspberry jam. Raspberries are light, sweet and delicious. To this day I always use raspberry preserves for my toast or to put on ice cream. I love their color, texture and taste. Each year, in the summer, my older daughter and I get together to make raspberry tarts and raspberry preserves. We really appreciate the raspberry preserves during our hard winters when their store prices are high. My vote definitely goes to raspberries.

Every Summer we pick gallons of them and I make blackberry jelly to give as Christmas gifts. Every Summer I’m outside eating or picking them and end up with so many scratches on my legs and arms!

Jason Provo – I like the “berry” breakfast cereals that I ate in the 70s-80s; remember them? “Boo”-berry and “Franken”-berry they were called. My mom did not like buying the cereal for me on a regular basis because it lacked any real health qualities but she would always have it around annually every Hallowe’en as a special treat to keep in the theme of things!

Merm123 – I remember my twin brother and I used to have to walk quite a distance to go to school and we had to go through some parks and fields to get to school. We found a place that had so many blackberries so we would bring our little tupperware container and pick as many as we could too and from school. We would share them with our older siblings when we got home. So yummy and great memories.
Genie Luxemburg – Strawberries. They’re so sweet and they are my favourite colour, and I also remembering reading once that they naturally help whiten your teeth, and I’m not sure if that’s true but I think of it every time I eat them.
Gin-Mary Megeway – My favourite berry are Frozen Mixed Berries. I learned that its high in antioxidants which is good for us. I used those those berries for my smoothie. “One glass of Berry smoothie a day keeps the sickness away”.
Sylvia – A children’s book from 1949 called “Blueberries for Sal” that celebrates the mother child bond in the form of a little girl and her mom and a mamma bear and her cub is my favorite berry story. Both set out to find some wild blueberries and discover more than the sweet blue fruit. The story and illustrations are charming and this book always gives me the blues in the best kind of way.
Lee S – Blackberries are my favorite – the big juicy ones at the beginning of the season! They are great in cobblers and I love adding them to oatmeal. Straight out of the bowl is good too!
Celia D. Scribner – Red Raspberries are definitely the best berries. Just like my raspberry pie. ..I love grandmas raspberry patch on the farm, every year bigger yum yum, raspberries and cream to this day, 1st week of July time for picking.
CR – Now I love blueberries, but I have fond memories of picking wild raspberries at our family’s property in the Catskill Mountains as a child. We would pour milk and sugar over them. They tasted heavenly!

docluci – While I love Halle Berry and danced to Chuck Berry in the 60’s but my favorite berries now, in my old age, are red raspberries and blackberries floating a bit of heavy cream after a dinner my son has cooked. I feel like a queen!!!!!
