When I went to the gym to work out, I was jealous! Everyone there had a six-pack around their waist, and I had a keg!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

    • Mrs Ed

And what did they look like, before they started working out? The first step to being that way, is the step you took, when you went there! 🙂 Perseverance!

  • Julie Dascoli-Yanop

I was jealous of Derek Jeter’s wife last night on the special they had for the him to retire his Jersey #2. Not only is she married to and having a baby with such an amazing, humble man, but she is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! God bless them both!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

So was I. If you don’t believe me, you can ask my son. He was sitting next to me when we watched the ceremony!

  • Aries13

When everyone around me gets something new and I’m stuck with all the old stuff. For example, my husband and kids have the newest iPhone, but I have the older model. My daughter just got a brand new car, I’m stuck driving my mommy’s old Cadillac! No fair!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I know that feeling. My kids have the newest cars out of all of us. They have iPads, too.

  • Julie Pollock

I have been jealous over my friends getting the attention of a boy I thought was cute.

  • Dicksy Maneschyn

I love shopping with my girlfriend but not in a threesome. I usually feel left out . The old saying two’s company but three’s a crowd is so true!

  • dottie p

just the other day when my brother ate some donuts. i’m diabetic and i can’t have any. so every time he eats donuts, i get so jealous.

  • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I’m not supposed to eat fruits, vegetables or steak. I can live without the fruits and vegetables but I love steak! I noticed my husband wasn’t buying steak at all. So I told him it was okay to eat steak for dinner in front of me. Well, that first steak he had since I “gave him permission” looked so juicy and good that I got jealous, and a little ornery!

    • Mrs Ed

May I ask why you cannot eat those foods? Personally, lol, I can do without steak. Unless it’s at a favorite once a year place I like to eat at, when I can afford it. But, any other time…….just pass the veggies. I can chew that. lol

      • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I just answered Leslie. Take a look.

    • Leslie Anne Soloman

How come you aren’tsupposed to eat fruit and vegetables?

      • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I have Crohn’s disease and grow excessive adhesions, which wrap around my intestines. Those foods get stuck in the obstructions.

        • Mrs Ed

I’m so sorry that you have to endure this horrendous disease. I do know a little bit about the disease, as I have a sister in law who is afflicted with it, and has a colostomy bag. She was given a life expectancy and has far surpassed it, and is still with us 23 years later, and doing quite well. (((hugs)))

          • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Thanks, Mrs Ed. I’m lucky enough that I’ve had five bowel resection and never woke up with a bag. Please send good thoughts from me to your sister-in-law. And thankssso much for the hug. I needed that today!

    • Karen T

I don’t eat much steak anymore but I can’t imagine being told I can’t ever eat it again. Same goes for the fruits and vegetables. And I’m really sorry that you have Crohn’s disease and that you can’t eat any of that. But how do you get your nutrition?

      • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Not very well, I’m afraid. Chicken, fish, pasta, multivitamins. Better than when I got it from an IV for 12 hrs a day. I can always drink Ensure.

        • Karen T

I’m glad to know that there’s something you can eat and that you don’t have to use an IV.

          • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Me, too and thanks for caring!

  • Sarah Turner

Before I had my son two years ago, I was jealous of anyone and everyone that has or had kids.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I went through that for all the years I did fertility treatments, etc. I finally had a child, then two miscarriages, then my other child. Before I had them, I used to hate going to “family restaurants” and would get annoyed at the “noisy kids”. I know it was just jealousy.

  • Marcus

Me and my friend are car guys, and I have a 2008 BMW 328xi, so I was the one with the cool car, until couple of days ago my best friend finally purchased his new car. A couple of times a week for about 3 weeks, my friend and I went to the car dealership looking for a nice quality car, and there are plenty out there. We looked through every make possible Ford, Mazda, Honda, BMW, Nissan, Audi, etc… and he was contemplating which car he wanted, and during week 2 he started to say that he was leaning towards getting a Nissan or a Honda, and competitively speaking I was relieved he wasn’t gonna try to out-do me, until about a week later he pulls up to my house. He is in 2012 BMW M4 all blacked out, I was so jealous and he taunts me all the time. (All in fun)

  • Carol Miller

I was jealous of my sister, Janice, for being able to eat anything and never put on an ounce. I have had to watch every crumb I put in my mouth and exercise like crazy and am still not what you would call thin.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

      Welcome to the club, Carol!

  • Paul Clément

It happened a long time ago and I can’t say that I’ve really gotten over it, at least not insomuch as the memory of it creeps up on me occasionally. A girl I had dated and fell head over heels in love with ended up marrying someone 3 years or so after we had gone our separate ways. I realize that I had no right, but that event floored me and I was very jealous of the man with whom she tied the knot especially that I had seen him as a rival and serious threat at the time. Call it jealousy or a simple case of a male ego being damaged at having to admit defeat in a way. Whatever the answer, the feelings that ran through me were painful and very real no matter.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Well said, but I’m sorry you had to go through that.

  • Sue W.

I have a Major problem with jealousy…if my husband ever cheated, he would be dead and I would be in jail…and I get jealous for no reason!!!

  • Merm123

I was jealous of my twin brother growing up. He was always getting the attention because my parents tried four times to get a boy and I have three older sisters then I was born then he was born last. My dad and mom were so happy that they finally got their boy and he was always spoiled and had all the attention from all relatives and friends. I was jealous too because I ended up with a birthmark on my leg and he got nothing ugh. The joys of my life.

  • MT

I was jealous of other people having a life in high school. But now, I’m pretty happy with my life and don’t worry about others. It’s a lot easier that way.

  • luisino

I used to be jealous, not anymore. Many times jealousy is without foundation and many relationships break down. That is why I advise them to be jealous and less to believe in gossip that many bad people spread.

  • Erin Estilette

I’m jealous of people born with great skin. I know some people that don’t even take care of their skin, yet it is flawless and they can leave the house without having to fret over makeup and concealer. I had a very long battle with acne, and I am afraid of being seen bare faced.

  • Christy

I hate to admit it but I was jealous this past weekend seeing all the posts about Mother’s Day. I have one daughter who’s gone nuts and can’t raise her own children. I step in to keep them out of Foster Care and I’m the “enemy.” No card, no visit, no phone call. Nothing. The other one lives about 35 miles away and only comes to visit when it suits her. I guess it’s good that she hasn’t wanted anything lately because while she’s made trips out of state to the mountains and the other way to the beach, she can’t afford to come visit me for the past 6 months. I envy those mothers who have their adult children visit them, take them to brunch, go to church with them, send them cards or flowers…. any acknowledgement of appreciation. I suppose I’ll be content with the fact that neither of my kids does drugs, neither is in jail and both are self-supporting. Sorry to be such a whiney-butt today 🙂 Life is good. 4 more days and we will have made it through an entire year of my co-living and the kids get to go to MY house for the summer! It’s not all bad. I’m surrounded by love!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Oh, Christy. That stinks! I hope one day your daughters wake up and realize what they’re doing to you. Sometimes family can be the meanest, or maybe it just feels that way because they ARE family. I’m happy your relationship is working out!

  • Nicole D. C

When my husband and I were dating, I was jealous of all his friendships. He has so many friends. I only had family to call upon. He can make friends so easy, while I just sit back and watch them develop.

  • dolfanatl

I get jealous when I see a guy who has an athletic body. I think all the exercise and diet won’t get me that type of physique.

  • Rebecca lee

I get so jealous when I see someone with a talent for art. I would love to be able to draw and I’m so envious of people who can just pick up a pen and make a masterpiece. Unfortunately I’m limited to stick men and colouring in!!

  • Ken Grant

When one of my classmates did better on a test or in a contest than me. I really expected to be the best every time and didn’t like it when others did better than me.

  • Leslie Anne Soloman

When I was younger between 12 – 21 I was jealous of women with larger breasts than mine. Aw … the things women stress about.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

LOL, Leslie!!! I think all girls did that when they were those ages. I know that I was jealous. Turns out, I was just a late bloomer!

    • Mrs Ed

hahahahaha! That’s too funny. I never wanted them, and didn’t have them until I got old and fat. Want ’em? You can have ’em. I’d rather be able to go back to being able to wear any blouse I want to and not have to worry if I’d popped a button in a revealing spot!

  • Kristy Moore

When people win cars on the Price is Right!

  • Laura Gruttadauria-Pinette

I get jealous when my husband is talking to a women at work because you see so much about husband cheating on wives at the work place

  • Sylvia

I’m jealous of anyone with athletic ability; I am the master klutz and feel mesmerized by anyone with can run, swim, bike, ski or hit a ball with such grace. I’ve tried all these different activities and will give the tour of bodily scars from my attempts. I’m not even safe as a spectator; I slid down four steps at the baseball stadium trying to get to my seat and needed 10 stitches. My husband has the emergency room on speed dial.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

So sorry, Sylvia. Make sure you don’t have an ear problem that puts you off balance. And PLEASE, try to rely on other people when you need them. The steps at Yankee Stadium were so steep that my husband and I felt like if you leaned over in your chair, you would just go tumbling down. A poor, old man did fall down the stairs one day when my husband took my son to a game!

    • Mrs Ed

I’m a klutz too Sylvia. Howdy! If it’s there, no one else will find it, but me. I tripped over a pipe, sticking out of the ground on a street in Chicago and broke my elbow. Years before, and way different state, there was a pipe sticking out of the ground, and I tripped over it, and broke my toe. Yes, that was only a couple of times, where I had actually broken a bone. I fractured my neck, diving into a swimming pool, when I was 17 years old. The good Lord is actually watching over me, because by all rights and means, I’m surprised I’m still here.
      So…………yes…………I feel your pain, girl.

  • Deb

When my luck has run out at the casino and someone next to me hits a jackpot. Especially when I had been on that machine seconds ago. Just makes me want to slap myself silly.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Ever since I hit $1,206 on a slot spin on a cruise, my the needle on jealousy meter doesn’t move as much when I go to Atlantic City any more.

  • DM

Jealous then broken hearted then disappointed in myself. After high school when I found out my long time boyfriend was getting married and not to me!

  • Diane Lane

The last time I was jealous was in high school. I applied to many colleges just like my friend Leslie. We had both applied to Cornell and only a had a limited amount of openings for each state. In this state it was 3. Leslie was accepted and I wasn’t. That was the one and only time I was jealous.

  • deedee walker

OOh how I hate to admit this but it is the truth, when I was about 16 yrs old, I was madly in love with a real good looking guy who had a camero, a good job, and looked like a surfer boy! he was to come pick me up as we had a date, though I had cancelled the date, he still showed up at my “childhood” home, where I lived with may parents and my sister. I had already gone out. Well my Pregnant Sister, who was 17 yrs old at the time, and i’m talking 8 months pregnant, answered the door, he never gave no more thought to me, an just wanted her, pregnant or not. It really hurt my feelings big time, not to mention he had wanted my sister, but I felt betrayed by my sister and was very jealous over that and still haven’t got over it!

  • James Stanford

Recently a co-worker was given a cash reward & paid day off by our
supervisor. I was both shocked and irratated because it’s widely known
and acknowledged this particular co-worker does little to no work they
    were hired to do. 😮

  • 77giggles

I’m not the jealous type, so I can’t remember when I was jealous of anyone or anything.

  • I am jealous of my neighbors yards and landscaping when I walk the dog!

  • davida burdette

I was jealous that my boyfriend works for credit repair company but fixes other people credit and not mine lol. However, he recently told me to pull my credit.. so maybe he will start. But his clients are always first.. drives me crazy and we live together.

  • Anthony Taylor

I get jealous when get on Instagram and I see these beautiful illustrations and the artist’s message is something like “Quick little warm up sketch. Nothing exciting…” Then I’m like” “…really?!”

  • Jeanne Wagner

My friend went to vacation on the Outer Banks! I wanted to go!

  • rose morgan

When my ex-husband like working more than he liked me.

    • Mrs Ed

Been there………done that. That’s why there is an EX before their title, right? Yeppers!

  • Rochelle Pieper

I am very jealous of my daughters relationship with her new boyfriend. She spends every waking hour with him and I know she is growing up and I knew this would eventually happen but I am just not ready to be replaced!

    • Beth Stone

Oh, Rochelle. You are NOT being replaced. Your daughter’s relationship with her boyfriend has nothing to do with you. Include him in things. Get to know him. Your her only Mom. You could never be replaced. She’s just enjoying her life with someone else as well. But, don’t be jealous. She loves you..

      • Mrs Ed

        WELL said!! 😀

  • edeliz

It’s been a while, but I’m guessing I was jealous of how easily my sister was I able to do math. It was a struggle for me!

    • Mrs Ed

Math is not an easy task. In my experience, and opinion, a person has to love numbers to be good at it. I am a numbers person, but some of my sisters cannot do it. It doesn’t mean that they are dumb. It just means that they have other interests that differ from my own, and are better at them, than I am. And that’s OK, because God made us all unique. ((hugs))

  • Mrs Ed

I’m not the jealous type. Whenever I feel even the slightest bit of envy, I push it out of my thoughts, and replace it with the will to strive for something better, and pray with thankfulness for what the Lord has blessed me with.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

      Good work!

  • Mrs Ed

Nah! Florida is too hot, and they have alligators and really big snakes. LOL! ….sorry, couldn’t help it….

    • Karen T

Hahaha! Mother’s Day was the first WARM ‘summery’ day I’ve seen this year. So hot wouldn’t bother me right now. And as for the alligators and snakes, if you knew my neighbors, well… it’s a pretty similar situation so I guess I could deal with the heat in Florida. LOL

      • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

        LOL!!! You’re too funny!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

  • Kay Jones-Hoff

Probably when I was in elementary school. Being one of last picks in outside activities

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

That was me in camp. They were very into athletics. I wasn’t.

  • Brian Vaughn

When everyone started getting their license in high school and I graduated and still didn’t have mine

  • Teresa Rojas

I was jealous when I was not the lottery winner!!!!

  • Josee Labrecque

When I met my husband I was jealous of his ex girlfriend, but 15years later I laugh at myself remembering how I was. I am now the least jealous person in the World’s, lol

  • Ray Ayala

The last time I got jealous was over spring break. Everyone was talking about going out of town. I ended up having to spend my spring break budget on needed car repairs. I did get to go out of town though, but it was to the next town over to see my mechanic.

  • Natania

I am so jealous of anyone who wins the lottery. It seems like no matter how hard I try, I will never be ahead on my bills. Pretty much I live paycheck to paycheck and it’s almost impossible to save money. It seems like once I get a little money saved up, something always goes wrong on the car, or the house or something. I will hear of someone buying 1 lottery ticket for one dollar and winning, or the same person winning two times, and I just get jealous and think why cant I get lucky just one time? I wont be stingy, I would help my family and closest friends be debt free too.

when i see my friend wearing a new shirt

  • Danielle mullane

When it was parents evening and everyone’s mum & dad came except mine my dad didn’t ever come I so wanted to be normal and was soooo jealous of my friends just for having a mum and dad

  • I have always been jealous of my sister. She is very pretty, best hair, very fashion forward and a great athlete. I always tried to be like her but was always 2 steps behind. She is 2 years younger than me and has had kids before me and got married before me. She also graduated college before me and makes a lot more money than me. They only time I was grateful for her and not jealous was my wedding. During the planning and throughout the actual wedding, She was most helpful and even gave up her house and yard for the ceremony and did my make up and even helped decorate. She was a true help and a great sister.

  • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I told you: come and visit! Stay as long as you like!

  • Sandra Morneau

Je suis jalouse lorsque je vois le peu d’efforts que font certaines personnes pour garder la ligne, alors que j’ai l’impression de prendre du poids en mangeant un raisin 🙁

  • sandy

I was jealous when my manfriend (not boy), John, poked his body a few times up against the bartenders buttocks while she was bending over the counter. She’s a friend of us both but one, it shouldn’t happen and two, not in front of me…..

  • miriam smallchild

    When I deserved to win

  • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

    Thanks so much, Leslie!

  • Stannyboyc

I made a decision to be grateful for all that I have and not get jealous anymore. It took a lot of work but by God’s grace and the work of the Holy Spirit in me I am conquering this.

  • Theresa Holly

when all my friends are getting married or having babies–I feel left out because I am still single!

  • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Hopefully sooner rather than later, Karen. You’ll get to meet my husband. Oh, joy. LOL

    • Karen T

I haven’t even met you yet! Lol! Oh yeah, I want to tell you there’s a few locations for a place called Popi’s Place family restaurant. It’s been a few years since I’ve been there but it was pretty good food. I truly hope they have something there that you can eat. I thought it was a pretty nice place. I looked up the location that we visited and here’s the link.

      • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Thanks, Karen. I have to see how far Bradenton is from Brandon.

        • Karen T

          38.7 miles
          Via I-75 S, US-41 S
          42 min without traffic
There are other locations but I’m not sure if they’re as good as this one.

          • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

We’ll have to check it out. My husband likes to drive so it’s not a problem. Thanks, Karen!

            • Karen T

              No problem 🙂

  • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

LOL!! I’d rather your have watched it unscathed!

  • Mrs Ed
