Miners? Mid-term elections? Michael Jackson? For our year-ending Vindale Facebook contest, we wanted to know: What was the biggest news story of 2010?

2. Nicole D. - my world 2010: katy perry, birthdays, cat adopted us, house nearly catches fire.. twice. health care plan crash and burn… lost my insurance along with my chance for a drivers liscense because i need glasses. lack of sleep and an endless chore list.

7. Jamie A. - the trapped miners for sure they some braves guys to be stuck there sooo glad they all made it out ok.

9. Heidy L. – The number of animals affected by the oil spill.
10. Sarah W.W. -  The GOP took over the House of Representatives…good or bad thing, we’ll wait and see.
11. Carolyn C.K. - The Bears winning the Division title.
12. Nevisha M. - d world will colapse in 2012
13. Emily F. - Lindsay Lohan in and out of court, jail, rehab…that was all over the news lol
14. Sally V. – Mark Zuckerberg being a creep and a weirdo.
15. Debbie M. - Gulf Oil Spill
16. Loretta B. – DADT
17. Kristin M. – The transfer of power in the midterm elections
18. Senida R. - CHLIAN MIND RESCUE
19. Toni F. - For me, the biggest news story of 2010 was the oil spill in the Great Lakes.
20. Michelle T. - my Colton was born healty in feb 22
21. Serena L.-H. - I would say that Michael Jacksons death was. Ther were more important things that happened, but it seems to me that his death was the BIGGEST news story.
