They should have made it multiple choice or had and all of them. Too many to just choose one.

I had just started dating this guy way back when, and we were in our favorite bar together, when he went up to sing with the band . . . Whoa, I never saw him do that before, so was excited, but ready to be embarrassed. WHAT IF it was terrible? He sang “Just the way you are” and it was nice. I mean really nice – I’m not just being nice! He also sang “Cheeseburger in Paradise” – talk about extremes, huh? He was a blonde, something I was never attracted to before or since, but he was fun for a while. He brought me flowers to my house one night, unannounced and totally unexpected, which really upset me in the best way. Last time I was in touch with him he was married and building a house in Brazil . . . Wow!

    This is a cool song…

This song is very uplifting….it has a good beat and a catchy tune…it always makes me cheerful and brightens my day when I hear it. Then I don’t feel so down!

It was hard for me to decide between “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant” & “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, but I went with the second, as the meaning and rhyming of the lyrics always impressed me so. I really love all of his music and have seen him in concert many times – twice with Elton John. I wonder if “We Didn’t Start the Fire” is in second place b/c it’s at the top of the list or if as many people really like it as I do? “Scenes…” is just amazing for the transitions, and the way he tells a story makes him stand apart from so many.

I have to say my favourite song is Just the Way You Are because people should accept others just the way they are, whether they like them or not.

We didn’t start the fire just brings back so many happy memories from younger days. As soon as I hear it– it takes me back in time and I love when a song can do that. I have downloaded it on my workout playlist, because I know all the words, and the rhythm just makes me walk faster on my treadmill!

I like “Piano Man” because it reminds me of quiet evenings sitting at home, or even my favorite night spot, listening to Billy Joel or Elton John and their huge talents with the piano. It was difficult to pick just one but, that would be my choice.

There was this huge, steep snow covered hill every winter in our small town when we were kids. We would launch our sleds (and ourselves) down the hill and each of us would see who could sing the most words to “Its still rock n roll to me” by the time we hit the bottom of the hill. Yes, we were an exciting lot…
I guess I still associate the song with this childhood memory every time I hear it.
