I like playing chess. It needs lots of thinking in advance and planning. It is very good brain game.
You guys didn’t list any of the really good games like Carcassone, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, or any of the other awesome Eurogames. 🙁
‘SORRY’ is the most popular game we play in my house. I prefer Trivial Pursuit, but the children’s ages of vary quite a bit so they can’t always play games made for older kids or adults.
I like that game too. We had it as a kid.
Trivial pursuit is fun too, but when it comes to sports questions or dates, I always lose. lol
I agree with the sports questions and dates. If it was multiple choice I might have a chance..Lol
I like Trivial Pursuit because, It exercises your brain. I also like Scrabble, but I couldn’t give both as an answer.
Monopoly is fun and challenging
Original Yahtzee!, Challenge Yahtzee!, Triple Yahtzee! If it’s Yahtzee, I’m there! LOL
And it’s a great family game. It helps children learn how to add numbers, without using a calculator.
I haven’t played a good game of Yahtzee in years. My fiance’s grandkids usually want to play 10,000. We play that with three dice – where you have to get a 1, a 5 or three of a kind in your first roll. Then you keep rolling until you don’t get any of the above, adding it up as you go along. The 1’s are 100 pts., 5’s are 50, and 3 of anything is that number x’s 100. But, three ones are 1,000 points. The first one to reach 10,000 pts wins. They don’t like Yahtzee very much.
Hubby, my son and I used to play that, but we used 5 dice, and played it like the Yahtzee and if we rolled Five 6’s, it was an automatic 10,000. My hubby had nicnames for everything and he called this game “craps”. lol
I’ve always loved the game Life. It was never anyone elses favorite while i was growing up, so I didn’t play it alot. Everyone liked Monopoly, and I’ve NEVER won at that. I have a love/hate relationship with that lol. At least I won at Life sometimes 😉
How about snakes and ladders
The game of life
Currently, I play Conquer Club.com, Risk type of games but I also really like Yahtzee, Monopoly, Chess, Clue, wow when I think about it, for me, its hard to say that one is my favorite….
Love to play Yahtzee. It’s a Great Family Game
Monopoly by far because it teaches you about the business world and it simulates some of the associated risks on a smaller more intricate level.
I love all games but my best is scrabble -I think it is because I dont get to play it much and when I do it is the best. uses your brain to its fullest
my favorite is Ajedrez….really Intelligence game!
I love Clue but no one will play with me more than once. I can figure it out in 3 or less moves every time!
i can play monopoly and yahzee for hours.i like playing the computer.i win almost everytime.whick gets boring.how do you play others.someone become my friend on facebook and explain to me
I love trouble. My girls always called it trouble makers when they were little.
….Wow, these are some really, really, terrible and boring board games!
LIFE was an amazing game as a child and even into adulthood. Very fun to play with parents or as parents with children. A good family time.
Its scrabble, all the way. I got to play SOMETHING to make me feel smart. Even though that b can sometimes backfire. At least you can always count on one good argument!
who don’t like checkers it gets you thinking and its so fun to win
I love to quess who did it were anf with wat lol.is different all the time
