Dear Elizabeth,

I am Jijie — that’s the name I prefer. I kind of think that my mother made up Jeanilyn because I have tried to google it many times and I still don’t know what it means. I hope I can tell you what it means. Something about me that you think might be weird is that every time I see something brown, whether it’s a piece of furniture or bed sheet or a dress, I keep my eyes on it because I just love the color.

The story that I am dying to tell the world is how i met my husband. Yes, I am one of those who met their partners online, it might sound crazy. We met online through a christian dating website. We have the same faith and we just hit it off and he had to marry me 5 months later. :D He is 20 years older than me, but look at our photo, he is the most handsome man in the world! :P One thing I want to share too was for the first year in our marriage, we lived in a house where everything was black and white. My husband was going through a phase and if everything had to be black and white. LOL.

Well, I guess that’s the end of my short essay.

    “Favorite hobbies are watching all sports, DIY home projects. Been disabled due to neck and back issues since 1999, so would love to find some type of meaningful but less physical type of work.”
