Do you have any kids?
I have one 17 year-old daughter, Chelsea, who is a highschool senior….my I have a hard time getting used to that idea, she’s going to be an actual “grown-up” next year! She’s so responsible, smart and funny and just plain fun to be around. We have two cats, Tiger and Bibsy that are around 10 years-old and they have us wrapped around their paws..lol
What will you do with your gift card?
I can hardly believe I won a $50 Macy’s gift card!! This is the very first anything I’ve ever won in my life! I’m going to take my daughter shopping, at a “real” store in the mall! I haven’t been able to do that for a very, very long time.
How long have you been a Vindale member?
I’ve been a Vindale Member for a few months now and my favorite type of vindale offers are Video Rewards and Email Rewards.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies, which were primarily neccesity driven, are finding ways to cut expenses without losing quality of life. I started with coupons and rebate offers and recycling cans, (kids have more of an appreciation for money when they have to feed 20 soda cans into a machine to get $1.00) My daughter and I have found furniture pieces on the curb and refinished and sold these items to get money for extras, we’ve sold things on Ebay and treated ourselves to a nice lunch and a movie.
My daughter, through these hobbies, has learned some lessons that just cannot be taught in a classroom. She’ll always know how to “improvise” and how to get what she needs with little or no money. A couple of my standard life mottos have been “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are” and “If you’ve got more time than money, know how to make time work for you”
