HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA!! (I’M gonna go with spongebob.) Although his pants are square – his yellow body is definitely rectangular!

  • Timothy Mccollum

The caution sign, we should all be aware what’s going on around us.

  • edeliz

The one that identified the Cliff Notes I used in school. Those books saved my ass….ingments in school.

  • dolfanatl

The $100 bills in Monopoly. I would have said the $500 bill, but those are more orange than yellow.

  • Sue W.

    The IKEA sign…..love to shop!!!

  • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

The suggested speed limit sign where there is a curve on the road. If a speed sign is white, it’s the law. Those yellow rectangles at curves in the road have a speed posted. I found out years ago while reading Readers Digest that those signs have a “suggested” speed limit, which is good because I probably go a little faster than they suggest!

    • Karen T

Hahaha! I think most people do go a little faster than they suggest. And I just found out about the suggested speed a few years ago. But there’s one town near me where I’ll go lower than their suggested speed limit. The police there are pretty serious about giving tickets for any reason.

      • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

My husband says I have a “heavy foot”! LOL

  • peachesnmemphis

A block of Velveeta!!! Like seriously you can do so much with that creaminess!!!! I’m thinking Mac and cheese now!!!

  • Dicksy Maneschyn

My sons baby quilt! He would drag that blanket around until nothing was left of it! Finally had to throw it away but never told him that. He adjusted…he’s 42 now!

  • Diane Lane

Kerrygold Irish Butter…yum especially on some warm homemade bread.

    • James Parise

I use one pound of Kerrygold for every 3 pounds of potatoes I mash. Love that stuff.

  • Marie Angelie Delima

My family’s huge rectangular carpet in the living room. It really brightens up the room and surprisingly, our 3 dogs love it (they even sleep on it!). When we have visitors, the first thing they would ever notice is the carpet.

  • Angela

    A stick of butter! Mmmmm…butter….

  • Noel Stewart

Wisconsin yellow cheese is my favorite yellow rectangle. I was introduced to Wisconsin cheese long ago in my Navy days when I was stationed close to all of those cheese shops along the highway in Wisconsin.

  • Melody

A chunk of cheddar cheese – you can use it so many ways. Eat it with chili or crackers, on a sandwich, in a salad, or just plain

  • James Parise

    Freshly baked yellow cake.

  • Karen T

My favorite yellow rectangle is a placemat that my son❤ made while in kindergarten. One of the things I will treasure for the rest of my life! On it are his hand prints and a poem. The poem is:
    Sometimes you get discouraged
    Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints on furniture and walls.
But everyday I’m growing, I’ll be grown up someday
And all those tiny hand prints will surely fade away.
So here is a final handprint
    Just so you can recall
    Exactly how my fingers looked
    When I was so small.

  • Carol Miller

My favorite yellow rectangle is the yellow school bus my granddaughters get off of every day in front of their home. They are always smiling and laughing and the bus driver evenwaves to me. I remember how much I loved riding the bus to and from school and my granddaughters feel the same way.

  • taylor

  • Sylvia

It has to be those large yellow legal pads. They are used for mundane things like grocery lists and monthly budgets but they have also been the paper platform for possible baby names for my unborn child, letters of affection to my husband, bucket lists for retirement (Maui here I come) and hundreds of lesson plans. And those monthly budgets, some of those yellow sheets took flight as paper airplanes headed for a trash can runway.

  • Cecilia

    A brick of gold.

  • Shannan Vail-Goodman

The school bus. Blessed that this amazing transportation picks up my kids in the morning and delivers them safely to school and back home each day. Even more blessed by the drivers that have to put up with those monkeys! LOL

  • kandeels

The pan of lemon Jello jiggilers that I am planning to make for my daughter on Friday. She has “teacher lunch,” which is a small group of kids in her class who did not get their name on the board for misbehavior last month. These “shining stars” get to eat in the classroom with the teacher and treats are encouraged. Of course it will only be a rectangle until Friday AM and then I will be cutting “shining stars” out of the jiggilers!!!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Wow! What a good mom! I always volunteered to buy the paper goods so I wouldn’t have to bake or cook! LOL

      • kandeels

I love to bake, so any excuse works for me. Not to mention with three girls, all who have been in the school, it is known that my baking is good, so I often get requests. Not bragging, just truthful, LOL!!!

        • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

That’s great! My grown son loves to bake. I don’t know where he got that from! LOL. As I said, you’re a great mom!!!

  • ramadevi

A rectangle gold yellow riped, soft juicy fresh PAPAYA slice. I love the light smell of papaya.

  • Rhonda Coleman

My favorite yellow rectangle would be those little candies “Bit of Honey”… Yummy!

  • My favorite yellow rectangle comes in the form of cream makeup. It is apart of my Color Correcting Palette. It is one of 5 shades that come in individual rectangle slots. Yellow conceals, neutralizes and brightens dark purple under eye area. It also is great to cover bruises, sun spots, age spots, redness and balance skin tone.

  • 77giggles

My fav yellow rectangle is a box of Velveeta Shells and cheese!! goes great with everything, and if I’m not careful, I’ll finish it all off in one sitting by myself!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

      My favorite mac & cheese!

      • 77giggles

LOL Sometimes I’ll cut up hot dogs, sometimes kielbasa, sometimes I’ll throw in French style green beans, mushrooms…. whatever works!

        • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

I never thought to add something to it! Thanks!!!

          • 77giggles

LOL I do that to salads, too…

  • Suzanne

My favorite yellow rectangle is the National Geographic logo. It’s instantly recognizable and stands for quality journalism and exceptional photography. I will pick up a National Geographic magazine before anything else. I know I’m going to be informed and entertained at the same time. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/efaf2264e10938ae8ac918ec0dc673737ae1da2564f353fda9f30bdf279f78f7.jpg

  • Tabatha Howay

My favorite yellow rectangle is a big, 1lb. block of sharp cheddar cheese! I love cheese & with a block you can slice, cube, shred whatever you want to make so many delicious foods or just a snack. I like dill pickles and cheese for a quick snack when I’m wanting a salt craving fix.

  • Erin Estilette

A block of Tillamook cheese. Tillamook really knows how to do cheddar, and it’s made right here in the Pacific Northwest!

  • rose morgan

The one on my mustard bottle.

  • Chrystal Ozovek

AHHHHH!! What is my favorite yellow rectangle!!? That’s easy . . . a simple slice of American cheese! I love cheese on anything!! cheese on my eggs, cheese on my pizza, grilled cheese cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheesy nachos, cheese on my fries!!! You know what’s funny!! I must have eaten too much cheese while pregnant because not one of my 3 kids likes cheese! BUT all 3 of them love Parmesan cheese and that is one of the few cheeses that I don’t like!! lol I call it stinky feet cheese hahahaha!

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

My husband eats cheese that I swear smell like vomit. I call it “puke cheese”. I’m not sure what kind of cheese it is. (Possibly provolone.)

  • Beatrice

My favorite yellow rectangle is a yellow rectangle!

  • Chris Kendall

My favorite yellow rectangle is a brick of gold, how can you go wrong with gold? You can’t.

  • Leslie Anne Soloman

My favorite yellow rectangle is a yellow school bus. When my children were in middle school they called it the cheese bus. They hated it. They seemed to believe that it was beneath them to ride it. Oh well. They survived.

My favorite yellow rectangle is a sign I recently saw beside the entrance to my granddaughter’s high school. It had the words NO BULLYING HERE. The word Bullying had the circle with the diagonal line through it. I was encouraged to see that the school has a zero tolerance for bullying. Now, if only we could stop cyberbullies!

  • Paul Clément

I have to go with my favourite good on anything Kraft singles… Yummy! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1fb8d69a098a9b5c23e1e628d42f313d6490f9bd572dd9d3ac65a583bb45bac6.jpg

  • MT

Um….what? I don’t know that I have a favorite rectangle, let alone a favorite yellow one…does that make me a bad person?

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Of course not, MT! There have been a few questions I haven’t answered. Just couldn’t think of anything.

  • Hazel Thomas

Mine is the one on my t-shirt

  • Vonnie Aldrete

I would have to say Best buy, because it’s the first one I thought of. That’s all.

  • Kelly Lipka

my favorite yellow rectangle is blocks of sharp cheddar cheese

  • Sowmya

Big block of mango Kulfi melting on the plate….. yum!!

  • Millington

I need to answer the opposite of this question. My least favorite yellow rectangle is Yellow Cab. I requested a ride through their app. They came t my apartment complex, but not my unit. They did not call to let me know that they couldn’t the apartment, so I rode with a different company.

  • Deb

I’m showing my age here, but my favorite yellow rectangle is still the Yellow Page phone book. When I need to look up a local store or service, it’s much easier to look through the book and find what I need rather than boot up the computer.

    • Carol Miller

Deb, I didn’t think they made those Yellow page phone books any more. I haven’t gotten one in years but they were great when they came. Maybe it’s just my area that isn’t sending them anymore. I wish they did. Great answer, as always, Deb.

      • Deb

They still make them where I am. I’m sure that they’re on there way out, as so many things are.

    • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Me, too. It could be related to why I still buy books even though my daughter gave me a Kindle two Christmases ago. I like your answer, Deb!

      • Deb

Thanks, Diane. I guess we’re just “old school”. Lol

        • Diane Krumenaker Eugenio

Well hooray for old school. I was taking online classes for my BSN and the books were online. I had to print them out because it was driving me crazy not to put a post it note on a page so I could find it again, or not being able to highlight a sentence.

  • Purdy P

My fav yellow rectangle is the school bus sign because it symbolizes school is over 🙂 xD

  • Mandy Shumski

Homemade Yellow poke cake…….. My favorite since I was a little girl.

  • Paul Clément
  • Demi Thompson

  • Surveys Profit

    Definitely IKEA !

  • Carol Miller

I Love the yellow box of Crayola Crayons. Where would we be without them? I occupied hundreds of hours as a child drawing and coloring with these crayons. They saved my emotional life as a child in many circumstances. Crayola has more colors than one can imagine. There is a color for every picture. There are colors that are beautiful, bold, imaginative and speak to you. My granddaughters use their yellow boxes every day whether in school or at home. Life would be very dull without our Crayola crayons.

    • Deb

Great answer. Kids from all ages and backgrounds love Crayolas. You can make some awesome art by melting them and letting them run down the canvas.

      • Carol Miller

Deb, that is a great idea. Thanks.

  • MyKinKStar

My favorite yellow rectangle would be a cheque! Another 50 dollar survey cash-out cheque from Vindale! A crisp, smooth cheque on canary yellow paper; or perhaps goldenrod; I cannot be too fussy in this instance….
    Lovin’ Vindale!
